KOTA BHARU – A woman’s unidentified body was discovered by two anglers in Kampung Gaung Pendek river at 9 a.m. on Friday. Tunjong Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Senior Fire Officer II Zainal Fitri Husain, said the department was alerted at 10 a.m. by one of the anglers who reported the finding. The two had initially gone to inspect fishing rods placed in the river when they spotted the floating body entangled on one of the rods. Firefighters and police retrieved the body, which was handed over to authorities for identification and further investigation.
