Dashcam footage shared by SG Road Vigilante revealed the woman was using her phone at the time, with the traffic lights green for vehicles. The collision threw her several feet, but she immediately reached for her phone lying nearby. A taxi passenger and the driver rushed to assist her. She was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment. The 67-year-old taxi driver is cooperating with police investigations. Authorities remind pedestrians to exercise caution when crossing roads.
