RM300 Million Allocated for Sarawak-Sabah Link Road

Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan announced a RM300 million allocation for land acquisition related to the Sarawak-Sabah Link Road (SSLR) project. The 122-kilometre stretch will be completed by the end of the year, with the remaining 275.5 km by 2025.

The first phase, from Lawas to Long Lopeng Junction, is 38% complete and will finish in 2026. Additionally, RM220 million and RM20 million were allocated for the Second Trunk Road/Coastal Highway and Northern Coastal Highway projects, respectively, with further funds needed for completion.
