Wu Kang-ren, who played Abang, received the Best Actor award in the Feature Snow Leopard category. Directed by Jin Ong, Abang Adik has garnered 19 international awards, including Best Film at the 22nd New York Asian Film Festival. It also achieved success in China, earning RM2.2 million at the box office, alongside strong performances in Taiwan and Hong Kong. These accolades underscore Malaysia’s growing influence in the global film industry.
