KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 — Azwati Muhammed Ghalip, 52, the grieving mother of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) student Muhammad Amir Rusyaidi, has demanded accountability and a review of training programmes following her son’s death on November 13. Refuting claims of underlying health issues, Azwati highlighted Amir’s fitness for physically demanding activities. She accused a Palapes trainer of abusive practices, including forcing Amir to act like a horse before he collapsed. The family, unaware of his condition until contacted by the hospital, has yet to receive a medical report. Azwati urged authorities to investigate thoroughly to prevent similar tragedies.
