Severe flooding caused by heavy rain in Malaysia and southern Thailand has claimed at least 12 lives (no details given) and displaced over 135,000 people. In Malaysia, Kelantan is hardest hit, with 63% of evacuees from the state, while eight other states are also affected. In Thailand, six provinces have declared a disaster, and two hospitals were closed to protect medical facilities. Videos show rescuers saving residents, including a baby carried from a rooftop in Sateng Nok district. Both governments are mobilizing emergency personnel and providing relief funds. Malaysia braces for rising waters, while Thailand allocated $1.7 million per province for recovery efforts.
