KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s appeal for house arrest has been postponed after last-minute evidence was introduced.

Najib’s son, Nizar Najib, filed an affidavit claiming Sultan of Pahang informed him of an addendum allowing for house arrest. The revelation is expected to place pressure on the government as deliberations continue.

The court will announce a new hearing date to consider this development. The appeal remains closely watched, given its significant political and legal implications.
