KOTA BHARU, Dec 6 — The closure of Starbucks’ last outlet in Kelantan, located in KB Mall, has left its employees emotional, with many resigning instead of accepting transfers to outlets in other states.

Long-serving staff were particularly affected, citing personal reasons and an unwillingness to relocate. The outlet officially shut its doors on November 30 amidst a broader boycott movement that has reportedly led to the closure of 50 Starbucks outlets across Malaysia.

The employees bid farewell as the store ended operations, with some customers visiting to show their support during its final days.
