Twenty vehicle owners affected by the flash flood in Precinct 11, Putrajaya, received RM1,000 each in assistance, announced Minister Dr. Zaliha Mustafa. Putrajaya Corporation will create an interim parking lot for 200 vehicles and install a warning system using IoT sensors to detect water levels.

Heavy rain upstream caused the flood, blocking water flow. The ministry will work with the Department of Irrigation and Drainage to review and improve the drainage system. Advanced systems like sponge cities and underground reservoirs will be considered for future developments.
