In Petaling Jaya, Safwan Roshdy, the father of a baby boy named Adham whose body was allegedly withheld by a private hospital, has given social media users three hours to retract defamatory claims or face legal action. Represented by lawyer Datuk Ahmad Zaharil Muhaiyar, Safwan refuted allegations of being unmarried, presenting verification of his marriage certificate from the Perlis Islamic Religious Affairs Department. Ahmad Zaharil announced plans to file police reports and pursue civil or criminal lawsuits against the hospital for withholding the baby’s body for 16 days over unpaid medical bills. Safwan expressed deep disappointment over the baseless accusations.
