Speaking in a Facebook video, Dr Wee questioned Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s reliance on sub judice rules, highlighting that Malaysia no longer uses a jury system and that cases are decided by experienced judges. Referencing former Attorney General Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, who opposed sub judice principles, Dr Wee emphasized that Malaysians respect the judiciary and simply want transparency about the addendum’s existence.
