Recent deaths of several cats at Universiti Malaya have been linked to attacks by stray dogs, confirmed by police investigations using CCTV footage. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa revealed that the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) confirmed the cats died from injuries sustained during the attacks. The police received reports on December 17, 19, and 20, with no eyewitnesses present. Rusdi urged the public to avoid speculation and report incidents to the police or DVS. Bandar Tun Razak MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah called for a thorough investigation into the disturbing events.
