Man suspected of killing Nur Farah Kartini has his remand extended today

Mohd Nazri Elias, a 38-year-old tour bus driver, was fined RM6,000 and sentenced to a one-year prison term in default for vandalizing a Taiwanese woman’s car along Jalan Pantai in Johor Baru. He was charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code for damaging the victim’s Peugeot by breaking its side mirror and scratching the car, causing damages worth RM5,000. The incident, which went viral, occurred after the victim refused to let him switch lanes. Mohd Nazri has a history of three prior criminal records related to drug abuse.
