Non-Muslim Religious Ceremonies. Muslims Prohibited from Participating: Hadi

PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang emphasized that Islam prohibits its followers from participating in religious ceremonies of other faiths, urging non-Muslims to respect this principle. He stated humans have instincts as intellectual and spiritual beings, distinguishing them from animals. According to Hadi, while Islam forbids compulsion in converting others to the faith and respects other religions’ practices, Muslims must adhere to Islamic teachings and avoid involvement in non-Islamic rituals. He stressed that Islam is the foundation of Malaysia’s identity as enshrined in the Constitution.
