The Ministry of Education (MOE) is currently adjusting the educational needs of children associated with GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH), who are in safe houses under the Department of Social Welfare (JKM).
Ministry of Education Realigns Education for GISBH Children in Safe Houses
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek emphasized the necessity of this realignment, as some children are still residing in JKM safe houses. “We will tailor their education based on their age and suitability for mainstream MOE schools,” she stated at a press conference.
She addressed the educational development of GISBH children, managed by the ministry since October 1.
