KUALA LUMPUR – The Court of Appeal will hear Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s appeal tomorrow regarding the rejection of his application to serve the remaining six years of his prison sentence under house arrest, citing the existence of a purported Titah Adendum supporting his request.
House arrest
Originally scheduled for December 5, the hearing will begin at 9 a.m. before a three-judge panel. Najib is also seeking to introduce additional evidence to substantiate his claim of the Titah Adendum. The appeal challenges a High Court decision rejecting Najib’s judicial review application, citing insufficient admissible evidence, including affidavits from UMNO leaders deemed hearsay.
