Opposition leaders have called for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to resign following allegations of concealing a royal addendum allowing former PM Najib Razak to serve his sentence under house arrest. The Court of Appeal granted Najib’s appeal to pursue a judicial review, with a Pahang palace letter confirming the addendum’s existence. Opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin accused Anwar of breaching his constitutional oath and committing “grave treason.” PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari echoed the demand, citing government dishonesty and violations of justice. Both leaders called the controversy a crisis of trust, urging Anwar to step down immediately.
