Singapore has topped the Henley Passport Index for 2025, providing access to 195 destinations. Japan is second with 193 destinations, followed by South Korea, Finland, France, Italy, and Germany, all granting access to 192 destinations.
Malaysia Ranks 12th in Global Passport Index
The top 10 includes the UK (5th) and the US (9th). Malaysia ranks 12th with access to 183 destinations. Other notable countries in the top 10 are Denmark, Sweden, and Australia. The Henley Passport Index, using IATA data, ranks passports based on the number of visa-free destinations.
