A vendor went viral after netizens found out his satay costs RM24.90. He claims that premium ingredients are used for his food. These ingredients are apparently imported from New Zealand and are of the highest quality. Netizens appear to be unfazed with these remarks.

Some users were defending the vendor citing that it is a free market. If anyone were to purchase said items, it is on them not on the seller. Furthermore, users add if a customer does not like the product, it’s their choice not to buy said product.
Others state even companies like McDonalds are using local ingredients for their menu. Users add that we should be proud to use our local items rather than importing meat from overseas.
