The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather alert for continuous rain at the “watch” level in three states from Thursday to Sunday.

Continuous rain is expected in parts of Sarawak (Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, and Bintulu) from Thursday to Saturday, and in Sabah (West Coast, Sandakan, and Kudat) from Thursday to Friday.
Continuous rain is also forecasted for Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru in Johor from Friday to Sunday.
