Distribution of Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) starts tomorrow with improvements in targeted assistance as part of the increased Budget 2025 allocation for Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) and SARA, now RM13 billion compared to RM10 billion last year.
SARA and STR Aid Reach RM13 Billion in 2025
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) stated that households in the eKasih record will receive RM2,100 for 2025, up from RM1,200 in 2024. SARA aid of RM100 per month will be credited to recipients’ MyKad from January to March 2025, increasing to RM200 per month from April 2025. Additionally, 5.4 million STR recipients will receive extra SARA aid starting April 2025.
