We have a deal says Trump on Hamas-Israel ceasefire

Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire and hostage release deal, 15 months after the Gaza war began. The agreement, mediated by the US, Qatar, and Egypt, will start January 19, with an initial six-week ceasefire phase. Israel will gradually withdraw forces, and Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages over 42 days in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The deal’s second phase, addressing the remaining 65 hostages, hinges on further negotiations. Talks continue to finalize details, with Israel’s security cabinet expected to approve the accord. Despite hardline opposition, Prime Minister Netanyahu is anticipated to secure cabinet majority approval.
