The Ministry of Education (KPM) assured that no cuts will be made to the Early Schooling Aid (BAP) for primary and secondary students. MOE deputy secretary-general Datuk Ahmad Suhaimi Endut addressed concerns about potential reductions by schools or the Parent-Teacher Association.
No Cuts to Early Schooling Aid, Assures Education Ministry
He confirmed that BAP funds would be fully utilized by recipients. The government allocated RM39.13 million for 260,904 students in Pahang. In 2025, over 5.2 million students nationwide will benefit from RM791.25 million in allocations.
The BAP program, introduced in 2012, now extends to Form Six students, benefiting over 100,000 students.
