The plane arrived late, and after more delays, passengers were finally allowed to board at 2:30am. However, the plane’s engine failed to start. Lin demanded RM6,200 in compensation for hotel and transportation costs. Scoot later apologized, citing a malfunction with the airport’s fuel truck.
