Malaysian shooting ace Johnathan Wong broke his own decade-old national record at the Southeast Asia Shooting Championship (SEASA) in Taiwan. The Olympian scored an impressive 586 points in the men’s 10-meter air pistol qualification round, surpassing his previous record of 585 set at the Tun Hanif Trophy in 2015. Sharing his excitement on social media, the 33-year-old described the milestone as a testament to years of dedication. Hailing from Melaka, Johnathan credited his coach, family, and teammates for their unwavering support, emphasizing that this achievement is just the beginning of more successes to come in 2025.
