A 40-year-old Malaysian aerospace machine operator in Singapore was sentenced to 19 months in jail for voyeurism and insulting modesty. Over nearly a decade, he secretly filmed his 45-year-old landlady and her daughter, beginning when the girl was just three. The crimes came to light in April 2024 when the man was caught filming the landlady in the shower. Police seized devices containing 22 illicit videos, some edited for explicit details. The family, traumatized by the betrayal, installed security measures to regain their sense of safety. A gag order was issued to protect the victims’ identities.
