Khazanah Nasional Bhd and the EPF-led Gateway Development Alliance Sdn Bhd (GDA) are nearing the privatization of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB). The consortium revised its takeover offer by lowering the acceptance threshold from 90% to 85% and extended the deadline for shareholder acceptance to February 4, 2025. As of January 17, 86.51% of MA HB shares were secured. The offer price remains RM11 per share. Post-acquisition, Khazanah will hold a 40% stake in the consortium, with EPF owning 30%.
