Former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad’s sons, Mokhzani and Mirzan, have a combined net worth exceeding RM1 billion, revealed Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Azam Baki. Mokhzani, who Is also under investigation under anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing laws, declared assets totaling RM1 billion, with a personal net worth of RM360 million, while Mirzan’s declared assets are RM246.2 million, with a net worth of RM120 million. These declarations follow notices under Section 36(1)(b) of the MACC Act 2009, requiring them to disclose assets dating back to 1981, when their father first became prime minister.
