Contrary to popular belief, Malaysia’s mass rapid transit is quite popular among commuters. RapidKL reported over 27 million passengers using their services last year. The new Putrajaya line also contributed to the increase in passengers this year.

Others are baffled at the sharp increase of riders to TRX. As the mall has been fully functional since late 2023, it seems to be one of the more popular destinations among Malaysian shoppers. Furthermore, the corporate offices in the vicinity would definitely help with the increase in ridership.
Some feel it is a peculiar sight especially when car riderships has also allegedly increased during the same time period.
