Holocaust Survivor Educates German Youth on Prejudice
He and his classmates spent two days at a Holocaust education center in Dachau, learning about their country’s Nazi past. Eighteen-year-old Melike, who knew little about the Holocaust, was deeply moved by survivor Eva Umlauf’s story.
The students emphasized the importance of learning from history to combat growing racism and antisemitism. Eva, a Holocaust survivor, dedicates her time to educating others about the dangers of prejudice and the need for unity.
