Smooth Highway Traffic Expected to Increase for Chinese New Year

Traffic on major highways was mostly smooth this morning, except for slow movement towards the East Coast due to accidents. As of 10:15 am, traffic was slow from Genting Sempah to Bukit Tinggi and from Bentong to Karak due to accidents blocking the right lane. 

Smooth Highway Traffic Expected to Increase for Chinese New Year

Slow traffic was also reported at Senai Utara-Kulai due to an accident blocking the emergency lane. Traffic is expected to increase around midday for Chinese New Year. Smart Lanes were activated on several highways, including Tangkak to Jasin and Ayer Keroh to Jasin.
