Malaysians are boycotting Port Dickson Beach after City Council officers prohibited camping. The City Council in Port Dickson (MPPD) conducted patrols to ensure compliance with rules, including no tents, campfires, or alcohol. Visitors received multiple warnings. 

Malaysians Call to Boycott Port Dickson Beach Over Camping Ban

Last year, a Malaysian family was reprimanded for setting up picnic mats and canopies. Violators can be fined RM1,000. Social media users criticized the enforcement, calling it a sabotage of tourism. 

Negeri Sembilan’s Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, emphasized using only picnic mats on beaches. The public is unhappy with the no-camping policy.
