A man suspected of setting his wife’s car on fire at Jalan Tebrau has been arrested after a series of police raids. Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said CID conducted the raids at Taman Sri Tebrau in Johor Bahru and Bukit Pasir, Batu Pahat, resulting in the arrest.

The suspect’s vehicle was confiscated. The arrest follows a viral video showing the man blocking a woman’s car with his MPV, pouring petrol on the bonnet, and setting it on fire.
The incident involved a 21-year-old woman and her 25-year-old husband. Police are investigating the case as mischief by causing fire.
