Transport Minister Anthony Loke has questioned.PAC chair Mas Ermieyati Samsudin’s plan to summon Transport Ministry officials over the RM500 million loss in EPF’s MAHB share transactions. Loke argued that his ministry has no involvement in MAHB’s stock dealings, which are managed by fund managers under relevant institutions. He suggested the move was politically motivated to target him as a DAP minister. Loke stressed that any inquiries should be directed at EPF, as the Transport Ministry has no role in determining share transactions.
