A Malaysian woman lost an estimated RM4,000 in ang pow money after taking a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Johor. She discovered the theft upon opening her suitcase at home.
Woman Loses RM4,000 in Ang Pow Money on Bus Trip
The suitcase’s zipper had been tampered with, and her red packets were emptied. She suspects the bus drivers, as only they had access to the luggage compartment.
Despite filing a police report, she felt the police were uninterested due to the amount involved. She advises others to carry valuables with them in the future.
