The “Kedah Unity Government Convention” will be held on February 15, announced Pakatan Harapan (PH) secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. The convention will discuss the preparations and direction of PH and Barisan Nasional (BN) as the “government in waiting” in Kedah.

Saifuddin emphasized the importance of positioning themselves as a credible and effective opposition. He spoke after a visit to Sungai Petani Prison for a Thaipusam Meet-and-Greet Event. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim previously called for such conventions in all states to strengthen the coalition.
