Two women were robbed of nearly RM50,000 in an armed heist at a grocery store in Bandar Parklands. Around 2 pm, a man wielding a machete targeted a 59-year-old customer, threatening her and demanding her necklace.

He then approached a 28-year-old store employee, who, in fear, threw her necklace at him. The suspect fled in a grey SUV with fake license plates, driven by an accomplice.
Both women were unharmed but lost valuable necklaces. Police are actively investigating the case under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code. CCTV footage of the robbery has gone viral.
