The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is searching for a woman suspected of snatching an elderly woman’s gold necklace at Felda Kampung Rahmat. Setiu police chief, Superintendent Mohd Zain Mat Dris, said the suspect pretended to inquire about rental houses before attacking the 72-year-old victim, who has vision problems, around 1:15 PM.

The suspect covered the victim’s face and struck her with a cement brick fragment, fleeing with the necklace. The victim’s neighbor found her covered in blood and called for help. The police are investigating and urging the public for information.
