The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, has urged authorities to swiftly arrest the suspect behind the brutal murder of a woman found near the Tanjung Lumpur bridge in Kuantan. Calling the act “cruel and inhumane,” he and the royal family visited the victim’s family at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan. Pahang police chief Yahaya Othman confirmed that a 37-year-old suspect, with a criminal record, had been identified. The victim, a food seller, was last seen delivering an order to him. Missing jewellery and injuries suggest a possible robbery-murder, with a manhunt now underway to bring justice.
