A property developer scam in Sarawak has left over 20 victims with losses of around RM1.8 million, according to the National Consumer Action Council (MTPN) Sibu. Chairman Lucas Lau said the company advertised on Facebook and participated in exhibitions to attract victims, offering to build or renovate homes.

Victims paid deposits but no work was done. The company targeted multiple districts between December 2022 and November 2023 before closing its branch office. Lau urged victims to file police reports. One victim lost RM46,000 after paying upfront for renovations.
