The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized over RM100 million in cash during a raid at the home of an aide to former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The money was found in multiple bags and safes, along with documents, jewellery, and electronic devices. The raid is part of an investigation into alleged abuse of power and money laundering, with authorities probing potential links to political financing. MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki confirmed the arrest of four aides. Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri was hospitalized after collapsing due to high blood pressure but is reportedly in stable condition.
