Outrage Over Zulfarhan’s Murder Sentence

The brutal murder of navy cadet Zulfarhan Osman Zulkarnain continues to haunt Malaysians. Six perpetrators, who tortured Zulfarhan with a steam iron and inflicted horrific wounds, recently escaped the death penalty, receiving 18 years in jail instead.

Netizens expressed anger, calling the punishment too lenient for such cruelty. Many fear the convicts could be released early for good behavior. Some even accused the justice system of favoring the wealthy, as one perpetrator was represented by renowned lawyer Datuk Hisyam Teh Poh Teik.
