Police are investigating a viral video featuring three radio hosts from Astro’s Era FM allegedly mocking a Hindu religious ritual. Six reports were lodged, including one by a man who claimed the video insulted the religion. The case is being probed under Section 298 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. The hosts, Nabil Ahmad, Azad Jasmin, and Radin, have been suspended pending an internal investigation, while Astro apologized and pledged to address the issue seriously.
