Since February last year, foreign nationals, including Malaysians, visiting Bali, Indonesia, must pay IDR150,000 (around RM40) in tourism tax per person. This may soon increase as local leaders plan to hike the tourist tax to ensure only “high-quality” tourists visit Bali.
