The government remains steadfast in addressing the cost of living crisis, assuring the public that they are not left to struggle alone. Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, emphasized that rising prices are a global issue, but the government is committed to finding solutions.
“We are constantly looking for solutions, whether through mitigation programs or intervention initiatives,” he said. Programs like STR, SARA, and SYUKUR provide financial aid, with RM358.5 million allocated for SYUKUR. Armizan urged against politicizing aid, stating, “Ask them what they have provided.”
