The Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia supports the policy, but GPs expressed disappointment over gaps in policy justification. Dzulkefly promised to advocate for revising consultation fees under Schedule 7 of the Private Healthcare Facilities & Services Act 1998, which hasn’t been updated in over three decades.
FPMPAM criticized conflicting laws and is prepared to pursue legal action to safeguard private primary care practices.
