Religious houses are meant to be a place of prayers. In Islam, all Muslims are seen as equals, thus, are entitled to pray in the same house of worship. However, there have been some anti-immigrant remarks by social media users citing that these houses of worship should “shoo” off immigrants.

"I'm not racist, but I feel uncomfortable with them! There are too many, they smell and take food; luckily the mosque authorities are strict "

An X user posted a number of TikTok comments that were rather unkind to the foreigners visiting them. Additionally, they complain that immigrants are taking the food for iftar in said places. This appears to not sit well with a large number of X users.
Others add that involving the house of worship is too far. Others add that immigrants have been donating to the mosque they frequently patron, and they are entitled to pray in it as well.
