Forest City will enhance transport infrastructure to support the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and Special Financial Zone (SFZ), aiming to become a regional transportation hub.
Upgraded Bus and Rail Infrastructure Planned for Forest City
Collaborating with Causeway Link, the upgraded bus network will integrate seamlessly with Johor Baru’s transport system, offering routes to shopping destinations and increased bus frequency to key points like the Second Link.
Rail transport plans, including the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail and Autonomous Rapid Transit, are also being explored. These initiatives, supported by the state government, aim to boost connectivity, streamline cross-border travel, and attract investments to the special zones.
