The MySaveFood Programme saved 60.7 tonnes of surplus food worth RM726,000 from being wasted during Ramadan last year across 149 bazaars in seven states, including Melaka. SWCorp CEO Khalid Mohamed noted the surplus, from unsold items at bazaars, was redistributed to institutions, mosques, and housing areas.
