Recently, a cash on delivery (COD) operation sending meals in black plastic bags to Muslim homes for those not fasting has been exposed. However, netizens aren’t entirely too happy with this operation. It seems that those who are unable to fast, are also being scrutinised at home.

Several X users are vehemently unhappy with this, citing that it’s an individual’s right to eat at home whenever they want. They add that the government should focus on more important issues in the country rather than penalising those who are not fasting during the month of Ramadan.
Others asked if it was a crime for shops to sell food during fasting periods. If it were, why aren’t international chain restaurants being targeted for selling food during Ramadan in broad daylight.
